UNN delegation visits Italy.

UNN delegation headed by Rector Evgeny Chuprunov visited the University of Calabria (Italy) to discuss the results of a long-lasting and productive cooperation of two universities and to develop new forms of cooperation in the field of research and education within the framework of the Bologna Process. The visit resulted in two agreements.

The first one entitled "Strategy of cooperation in Era of globalization" acknowledges the productive 20-year development of relations between UNN and the University of Calabria and sets fundamental principles for future cooperation. One of the main areas of this work is the unique international educational program "Russian-Italian University". Students, participating in this program will be able to get a joint Russian-Italian diploma and will have an opportunity to participate in collaborative research in high-priority areas of science and technology. The program also provides high-quality education for post-graduate students.

The second agreement regulates the process of student exchange within the framework of the joint Russian-Italian diploma program. It has been agreed that the program shall be aimed at those UNN students who are currently enrolled in the departments of Economics, Finance, Mechanics and Mathematics, Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, and Management and Entrepreneurship. Moreover, the University of Calabria will annually provide two scholarships for UNN students to study in Italy.
